Abstract

It will be approached in this work the application of the standard IEC 61850 in the anti-islanding protection of a distributed generation, in substation of electric power belonging to the sector of the subtransmission. With the growth of the loads, connected in the National Interconnected System, it is necessary to apply increasingly efficient protection and automation systems, thus avoiding the interruption in the electricity supply to critical sectors, some of them being the industrial sector and the hospital From this need for greater reliability, the automation system has developed over time, following the technology available at each moment of this historical line, thus making the operation of the equipment in the field increasingly safe for the operator and the system increasingly trying to expose customers to as few interruptions as possible.
