Title: Proposta de avaliação de risco no processo de design de produtos
Authors: Crispino, Rodrigo Lopes
Abstract: The present work intends to explore the conceptualization of the term Design in the sense of
understanding it as an object or systems design development methodology that allows, on
the one hand, the serial production and, on the other, the repeatability of the project with the
deviations or problems reduction, during its design, production or use. It addresses the
gradual change in design methodologies from the middle of the last century to the present,
considering the initial "inside out" approach (having the Designer alone following
standardized methodologies to obtain the ideal design) for another "from the outside to
inside" (having a multidisciplinary team receiving requests from the Designer who identified
those with the target audience). It considers, in this sense, the absence - among the stages
of the different project development methodologies - of a specific focused object or system
safety analysis helping the user to have a successful experience and free from any incident
or accident and thus collaborating to generate the intention to acquire (an indisputable
success indicator to what was designed and produced). Finally, it proposes a risk analysis
methodology to be applied during project development and demonstrates the advantages of
its use in the design phase to reduce problems - particularly those that could compromise the
user's physical integrity - during the use of the object / system reducing the costs associated
with project corrections or changes in the test phase or even after sale.2019-06-18T00:00:00ZUtilização da fibra de mandacaru para o desenvolvimento de compósitos poliméricos

Title: Utilização da fibra de mandacaru para o desenvolvimento de compósitos poliméricos
Authors: Lopes, Jacqueline de Azevedo
Abstract: This work is an initial study of the Mandacaru’s utilization (Cereus jamacareu
DC) as dispersed phase in polymeric composites for an application in Design
area. The process of the composite samples had the mandacaru wood fiber in
the form of granules were mixed with 59 HDPE (high density polyethylene) and
the pure OREVAC in different concentrations. The physical, mechanical and
morphological properties of composites with HDPE matrix and 20% and 40%
Mandacaru wood were determinated through traction, flexion, density
determination, water absorption and Eletronic Sweep Microscope (ESM) test.
The Mandacaru wood shows a porous structure that can influence in the
composite weight. A comparative research between the utilization of the
Mandacaru wood and the Eucalyptus wood in the composite was realized. The
results indicated that Mandacaru wood doesn’t interfere in material rigidity, and
the increase of their concentration doesn’t influence in the traction and in the
resistence of the composites. There wasn’t any change in the density
composites by varying the type of wood. The absorption water results indicated
that the wood chemistry composition can have influence on this property being
necessary other researches to better conclusions.2015-01-01T00:00:00ZA crise do sujeito e o desenvolvimento sustentável por outro produto

Title: A crise do sujeito e o desenvolvimento sustentável por outro produto
Authors: Santos, Fabio Moura
Abstract: Since the industrial revolution in England, the large-scale use has jeopardized the prospects
for the future of the human race on the planet. Thus, due to the increasing scarcity of
resources, sustainability has become a necessity for the contemporary man. The perspective of
sustainable development, the product designer has a great responsibility to think the product
not only for consumption by people of the present, but also for the reuse of resources used in
its own manufacturing into new products for future generations. Thus, for the understanding
of sustainability it is important to study the subject design; and the object society. Within this
idea, a reflection on the main challenges the designer to absorb social responsibility. For this,
we need to study how the relationship between man versus product was born, through
historical flashbacks, and what were the main products and social agents that this streamlined
capital structure and turned into what there is.2015-07-03T00:00:00Z
