Abstract: This work constituted the evaluation of the effect of the impact modifier on the
composite polycarbonate (PC)\micro hollow glass spheres (glass bubbles, GB). At
formulations of pure PC, PC\GB and PC\GB with impact modifier, were
extruded and then injected. Tests were then carried out
traction, bending and impact mechanics. After the analysis, an increase was observed
of elastic modulus in the PC/GB formulation, the material became more fragile in relation to
to pure PC, with an increase in the modulus of elasticity and a decrease in
impact resistance. On the other hand, the formulation containing PC/GB with
impact, there was a decrease in the elastic modulus, but the resistance to

Abstract: This work was the development and characterization of polymer
blends using poly (ethylene terephthalate) PET and polycarbonate (PC),
both recycled, recycling from primary and secondary, respectively. The
formulation of pure PET, pure PC and its blends PET / PC, were extruded
and subsequently injected, then were carried out mechanical tests
(tensile, flexural and impact), thermo mechanical (HDT and VICAT),
thermal (DSC) and morphological (SEM). After analysis, we found a small
increase inelastic modulus in tension and elastic modulus in flexure, but there
was a decrease in tension at maximum strength and impact resistance. HDT tests did not change significantly, unlike the VICAT; there was a considerable increase in thermal properties compared to pure PET and pure PC. Abstract: The present work aimed to evaluate the optical properties
of films obtained from low density polyethylene and industrial waste.
Five formulations were evaluated with varying concentrations ranging from 0 to
100% of the polymer comes from chips in film reels. The material
recovered was transformed into pellets and incorporated into the LDPE in the process of
balloon extrusion. The analyzes of the optical properties showed that the
addition of recovered material to LDPE, in low concentrations not
