Abstract: The objective of this work is to demonstrate the main changes that took place in 2015
in relation to the ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 standards presented in relation
to the previous ones: ABNT NBR ISO 9001: 2008 (Quality Management System -
SGQ) and respectively ABNT NBR ISO 14001: 2004 (Environmental Management
Systems - SGA), as there was a need for revision, according to the rules imposed by
the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to be up-to-date and relevant
to the requirements of the market. It is an indispensable requirement in the
development of this document to present the benefits that companies will have through
the framework of this Quality Management System, since it prioritizes better business
performance and greater ease of integration into the Integrated Management System,
continuous improvement and national recognition and / or your brand. ISO 14001
defines the requirements to be effective, to perform a correct environmental
performance through efficient use of resources, ensuring competitive advantages,
greater leadership involvement and risk management, as well as a considerable
influence on environmental preservation. However, revisions to the Standards that
occurred in 2015 were instrumental in facilitating and encouraging companies to
integrate the management system, in view of the same terms, definitions and
structures as they facilitate compliance with legal requirements, specifying, improving

Abstract: The project is a prime element in an enterprise, from which the master bases are outlined and
constitutes the main instrument of planning, execution and management of the work.
Measuring projects in architecture is a complex task, involving tangible elements such as
costs, delivery time and scope and intangibles, aesthetics, beauty, functionality, harmony and
comfort. The combination of these factors, coupled with the perception of customers, results
in the quality of the project. Nevertheless, the low quality verified in the projects is due to the
lack of standardization in the phases of product development and non-observance to
management principles. This fact generates a set of problems, such as the lack of investment
in technology in the area, material losses, distrust of the clientele and obstacles to the
implementation of a work system. This research aims to investigate the relevance of quality in
architectural projects. The methodology used in the research was a case study carried out in a
company of architecture and urbanism of the metropolitan region of Salvador-BA. The results
indicate that the project sector lacks management for quality, although some alternatives for
improving the situation are in process, such as certifications and the use of quality sectoral

Abstract: The purpose of this work is to present how the private port company "TPX" that
handles soybean has adopted and implemented the installation of sleeves filters for
the reduction of aerodispersoids in their atmosphere.
Due to the increase in dust because the high volume of soybean storage and
handling, the company found considerable risks to employees' health, such as the
development of problems to the respiratory system through inhalation of soybean dust.
The interest in adopting a containment measure aims both at issues related to
occupational health safety and economic issues of the company, as the shortages
generated by employees are causing the decrease in operational capacity.
Through meetings adopting the dynamics of Brainstorm with a multidisciplinary
company’s team was possible to determine which strategy to be used to solve the
problem. In the background, Benchmarking that is a field research was conducted in
the competition, in order to obtain information on what measures were adopted to
contain the dispersion of dust by companies in the same segment.
The company team "TPX" with the information received has adopted an PDCA
Cycle (Plan, Do, Check and Act), to ensure the final and ideal solution. This tool made
it possible to carry out a schedule of step-by-step activities, making each sector
responsible for activities corresponding to his area of activity.
Among the activities carried out by the team are market research, installation of
equipment, preparation of new procedures, training of the interested parties and finally
development of control means with the objective that the team can guarantee the
physical functioning of the equipment.
Following the philosophy of the PDCA cycle, after the installation of the
equipment, the port will continue to carry out air quality monitoring tests conducted
annually by certified outsourced companies in order to carry out future comparative

Abstract: The model of road freight transportation in Brazil is responsible for leading the
movement of hazardous products, as well as the index of environmental accidents
related to the transportation of this type of product. In order to reduce the risk of
these accidents, this paper presents an analysis for the re-certification of ISO
14001:2004 in a business of transporting oil. ISO 14001:2004 is based on continuous
improvement methodology known as PDCA, in English Plan; Do; Check; and Act. In
addition, ISO 1400:2004 is a voluntary standard and presents the requirements for
an environmental management system (EMS) to enable a company to develop and
implement policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and
information about significant environmental aspects. The overall objective of the
standard is to balance environmental protection and pollution prevention with the
socioeconomic needs of the company. The objective of this study was realize an
evaluation in a process for re-certification of ISO 14001:2004 in a business of
transporting oil. From this rating, was verify that the Company obtained positive
returns in reducing accidents, knowledge about the law and the Pollution Prevention.2016-11-12T00:00:00Z
